SkyySkill Labs has signed an MoU with BMS College of Engineering to set up a state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle Centre of Excellence (EV CoE) as part of BMS's Skill Lab Initiative — a significant step toward building structured EV training and placement in Bengaluru's growing electric mobility ecosystem.
This EV Centre of Excellence goes beyond conventional classroom learning by combining hands-on technical training with real career pathways. Students at BMS College of Engineering will gain access to industry-grade training under the Skill Lab Initiative, while also being supported with dedicated placement assistance to help them enter the EV workforce with confidence and the right skill set.
What sets this initiative apart is its dual focus on employability and entrepreneurship. Beyond preparing students for placement opportunities in the EV sector, the centre is designed to help them explore startup ideas within electric mobility — encouraging innovation alongside employment, and giving students the tools to either join the industry or build within it.
