Govt ITI Sangareddy in Telangana completed an EV lab in April 2026, in association with TNS Foundation, giving trainees hands-on training on electric vehicle systems.
The lab includes live EV models and hands-on training modules covering EV components, battery systems, motor technology and maintenance practices. A live model runs, so trainees see how the battery, controller and motor behave together under power instead of studying each part in isolation.
On the live EV models, trainees identify components, inspect battery systems, study motor operation and follow maintenance procedures, building skills for roles such as EV service technician and EV maintenance technician.
Sangareddy sits on the industrial edge of Hyderabad, where manufacturing and service businesses are adding electric vehicles to their operations. Practical EV skills from a local government ITI give trainees a credible start with employers in that belt.
