Government ITI Alwal in Hyderabad, Telangana completed a green skill lab in December 2024, giving trainees hands-on exposure to sustainable technologies and green energy practices.
The lab moves green energy from a classroom topic to practical work, letting trainees handle the systems behind renewable power and efficient energy use.
Practical sessions focus on how green energy systems are installed, connected and checked, and on the safe working habits that electrical and energy work require.
This practical work prepares trainees for entry roles in the green technology sector, such as solar installation technician and energy-efficiency technician.
Following the setup, trainees are attending practical training sessions designed to build industry-relevant skills for green technology jobs. Regular sessions give each batch repeated hands-on time, preparing them for opportunities in Hyderabad's expanding green technology sector.
